The Physical body consists of matter of the densest and slowest vibrations. | ||
| Etheric | The Etheric body emanates out about an inch from the physical body. It's basic function is to receive and transmit vital energy-the life force known as Prana in Sanskrit, Ki in Japanese. | ||
| Astral | The Astral body extends a foot or more around the body. It relates to the individual's emotional state and thought pattern, and it's through this body that we sense the moods or "vibrations" of other people. | ||
| Spiritual body | Extending out still farther from the body is the Spiritual or casual body which is made up of subtle energies of the finest and fastest vibrations. It may extend from a few feet to hundreds of yards, depending on the spiritual evolution of the individual. | ||
