Heat, but do not boil, herbs in the Milk and then set
aside to cool. |

Cream together shortening and
sugar. |

Add eggs and lemon juice. |

Add as small amount of flour and then
add a little of the herbal milk until all the flour and milk are mixed
in. |

Pour into an oblong pan. |

Bake at 325 for 50 min or until a
toothpick comes out clean |
