Mom's Sugar Cookies
2 3/4 Cups Flour
1 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 Cup soft butter and imperial Margarine
1 Cup Granulated white sugar
2 Eggs
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1. Beat together butter, vanilla, eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.  
2. Combine flour, salt and baking powder and add to liquid mixture.  Blend until smooth
3. Chill 1 hour or until firm
4. Roll out small amounts and cut into desired shapes.  Keep remaining dough in the refrigerator until  your ready to use it.  
5. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
6.   Bake at 375 for 8 to 10 min or until pale brown.
7. Remove onto a wire rack and let cool.
