Beat together butter, vanilla, eggs and
sugar until light and fluffy. |

Combine flour, salt and baking powder
and add to liquid mixture. Blend until smooth |

Chill 1 hour or until firm |

Roll out small amounts and cut into
desired shapes. Keep remaining dough in the refrigerator
until your ready to use it. |

Place on an ungreased cookie sheet. |

Bake at 375 for 8 to 10 min
or until pale brown. |

Remove onto a wire rack and let cool. |
