1/4 Cup White Flour |

Cup Wheat Flour |

Baking Powder |

1 tsp Ginger |
|

1 tsp Cinnamon |
|

1/2 tsp Cloves |
|

1/4 tsp Salt |
|
|
1 Cup Brown Sugar, packed |

3/4 Cup Butter Flavored Crisco |

1/4 Cup Molasses |
|
|
1 Egg |
|
|
Granulated Sugar for Rolling |

Preheat oven to 375 |

Combine brown sugar, Crisco, molasses,
and egg. |

Add white and wheat flour, baking
powder, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and salt. |

Shape into 1 inch balls about the size
of a walnut. |

Roll in sugar, place on an ungreased
cookie sheet and press with a fork. |

Bake for 10 min or until well
set. |

Let cool. |
