Ginger Snap Cookies
1 1/4 Cup White Flour
1 Cup Wheat Flour
2 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Ginger
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Cloves
1/4 tsp Salt
1 Cup Brown Sugar, packed
3/4 Cup Butter Flavored Crisco
1/4 Cup Molasses
1 Egg
Granulated Sugar for Rolling
 
1. Preheat oven to 375
2. Combine brown sugar, Crisco, molasses, and egg.  
3. Add white and wheat flour, baking powder, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and salt.
4. Shape into 1 inch balls about the size of a walnut.  
5. Roll in sugar, place on an ungreased cookie sheet and press with a fork. 
6. Bake for 10 min or until well set.  
7. Let cool.
